🔐 Authentication Modes

OAuth (recommended) — Log in with your CurAItion account, automatic org-scoped access
API Token — For programmatic/automated use with curai_... tokens
Anonymous — Global CurAItion baseline content (read-only)

OAuth is handled automatically by Claude Desktop and ChatGPT—no token required. For API-token (headless) access, open MCP Settings in your CurAItion dashboard.

🤖 Connect with Claude Desktop

OAuth (recommended) — add CurAItion as a custom connector:

https://mcp.curaition.xyz/mcp
  1. Open Claude Desktop Settings → Connectors
  2. Click "Add custom connector"
  3. Name it CurAItion and paste the URL above
  4. Click Add — Claude opens a browser window to log in with your CurAItion account (OAuth is automatic)

Custom connectors reach your server from Anthropic's cloud, so it must be on the public internet — https://mcp.curaition.xyz/mcp already is.

API Token (alternative — skips the OAuth prompt):

https://mcp.curaition.xyz/mcp?token=YOUR_API_TOKEN

Paste this token URL as the custom connector URL instead (no OAuth login needed), or use it directly from any headless MCP client. Replace YOUR_API_TOKEN with a curai_... token from MCP Settings in your CurAItion dashboard.

💬 Connect with ChatGPT

OAuth (recommended):

https://mcp.curaition.xyz/mcp
  1. Open ChatGPT Settings → Connectors (enable Developer mode if you don't see custom connectors)
  2. Click Create (a.k.a. "Add custom connector")
  3. Name it CurAItion and paste the /mcp URL above as the Connector URL
  4. Leave Authentication on OAuth and click Create — ChatGPT discovers OAuth and prompts you to log in

Always use the /mcp endpoint above (Streamable HTTP). The older /sse endpoint is legacy — don't use it for new connectors. ChatGPT can't edit a connector's URL after creation, so if an existing connector still points at /sse, remove it and re-create it with the /mcp URL.

API Token (alternative):

https://mcp.curaition.xyz/mcp?token=YOUR_API_TOKEN

When using a token URL, select "None" from the Authentication dropdown. Replace YOUR_API_TOKEN with your curai_... token.
